Fuel and range while towing

Aero, grade, speed, and headwind move fuel use more than the brochure’s city and highway figures. A travel trailer with a large frontal area can cut range sharply. Manufacturers rarely certify a single towing mpg, so this guide will not invent one.

What can be cited is tank capacity, fuel type, and any range figure a manufacturer actually publishes for a stated test. Those fields are on the spec sheet and stay empty until a source names them for that year.
