Wheelbase and the rest of the size

Wheelbase is the distance between axle centerlines. It is set by cab and bed. A longer wheelbase usually tracks a trailer more steadily and needs more room to turn. Ford’s 2026 F-150 conventional chart uses 122.8, 141.5, 145.4, and 157.2 inches. The F-250 chart runs from 141.6 to 176 inches.

Overall length, width with mirrors, and height decide garage and trail fit. Cab-to-axle is the measurement that places a gooseneck ball over or just ahead of the rear axle. Fifth-wheel clearance cares about tailgate height: Ford lists 58.3 inches for a 2026 F-150 4x4 at base curb weight, and says fifth-wheel towing is not recommended on Raptor.

Those body numbers will be filled year by year from the same guides as the tow ratings. A missing dimension is not guessed from a neighboring cab.
